Born in Athens, Georgia, Mr. King relocated to Florida where he now provides expert legal advice to clients in business and financial services related matters. He has valuable experience in providing comprehensive financial services for families and businesses. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. King worked for five years as a registered investment advisor with Synovus Trust Company and later with Merrill Lynch. During that time, he obtained his Series 7 and 66 licenses for the sale of securities, as well as the licenses to sell variable annuities, life and health insurance.

Mr. King is a member of The Florida Bar and the Hillsborough County Bar Association. Mr. King is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Lutz.
