Colleen Elrod practices in the firm's insurance coverage department, providing insurance clients with opinions and analysis of coverage issues and extra-contractual exposures under personal and commercial line policies including analysis of auto, truckers, general liability, professional liability, business owners, excess, umbrella, director's and officers, errors and omissions and garage keepers policies. Ms. Elrod represents insurance clients throughout the state of Florida in litigation arising out of these areas of insurance coverage including declaratory, breach of contract and extra-contractual actions. Ms. Elrod is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. Ms. Elrod is a member of the American Bar Association, The Florida Bar, and Hillsborough and St. Petersburg County Bar Associations. While attending the University of Miami School of Law, she was a member of the University of Miami Law Review and Order of the Coif. Additionally, she received a Dean's Certificate of Achievement Award in Constitutional Law, Evidence, Criminal Law and a CALI Award for Excellence for Insurance Law and Policy. |
