John Schifino practices in the areas of business litigation, environmental law and eminent domain. Mr. Schifino has broad experience litigating issues involving complex contract disputes, business torts, shareholder disputes and First Amendment matters. Mr. Schifino's practice also includes the representation of business clients in areas of environmental enforcement, compliance and permitting. He has represented business clients in Superfund (CERCLA) matters, and has served on a steering committee for a Superfund site located in Hillsborough County, Florida.

Mr. Schifino has lectured frequently on environmental matters, and published Environmental Management Systems in Managing Hazardous Materials, a comprehensive hazardous materials text published by the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management.

Mr. Schifino is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association (Member of the Environment and Land Use Section, Trial Lawyers Section, and Eminent Domain Section), The Florida Bar Association (Member of the Environmental and Land Use Section), and American Bar Association (Member of the Environmental and Land Use Section and Trial Lawyers Section).
